Team Lightning,

We are nearing our first home meet – Luau Theme! – and we have some work to do to prepare. As of Monday evening, 34 swimmers have declared (means marked available for the meet so coaches can place them in events) and there are 26 open volunteer jobs.

Swimmers must be declared for the meet (at this link) by 10am Tuesday morning so they can be matched with events. Please try to make entries by this time if you plan to participate.

The volunteer lift is a bit heavier for home meets and at this stage, a couple days out, we do not have enough volunteers to adequately conduct the event. Please consider the following options and reach out at any time if you have questions about expectations or level of commitment. ([email protected])

• Clerk of the Course – 1st half

• Head Timer – 1st half

• Referee – 1st half

• Scorekeeper – 2nd half

• Stroke & Turn Judge – 1st half

• Announcer – 1st half and 2nd half

• Asst Clerk of Course – 1st half and 2nd half

• Awards Clerk – 2nd half

• Concessions – need 4 people to help and setup/breakdown

• Heat Winner Ribbon Distributor – 1st half and 2nd half

• Timer – need 10 more total
